 Foothills Pride's Progressive Pride Day 🌈 November 2nd 2019 in Downtown Morganton was a success.

of partnering businesses and organizations who have
chosen to display rainbow flags in
solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ people of
Burke County and beyond.

Please patron these businesses and let them know how much we appreciate their allyship! They will be offering specials, events, and making extra efforts be safe and welcoming establishments for LGBTQIA+ folx.
~
This day is presented by Foothills Pride and partnering businesses listed below. This is not a traditional pride with a parade or vendors, nor is it sponsored by any public space or civic entities. It is an even organized by the community, for the community, to promote inclusivity and diversity in our downtown district.

 Our Mission
Foothills Pride is a newly formed organization based in Burke County, NC. We strive to provide opportunities to celebrate diversity, love, and fellowship within our community through cultural, artistic, social and educational events which affirm the lives of the LGBTTQQIAAP community. 


Our Vision
Foothills Pride envisions a social climate in which the LGBTQIA+ community thrives in collaboration with friends, family and supporters.
